This is a patient who suffered a perforating trauma to his Right eye 8 days prior to surgery. UCVA was PR Accurate. B-Scan did not reveal any abnormalities or IOFB. The Cataract had partially tumbled into the anterior chamber resulting in secondary glaucoma. Patient was immediately taken to surgery. Liberal use of a Dispersive OVD has been done throughout the surgery. Cataract removal was possible with a Bimanual IA system. Phaco was not needed. Anterior capsular Tear is very evident after removal of cataract. Rhexis was not done as the anterior capsule had run away in 3 directions already. A Single piece Hydrophobic lens was implanted in the bag. Patient did very well post operatively achieving UCVA of 6/6 on the very first post operative day. IOL calculations were done using parameters of the other eye. Surgery was done under Topical Anaesthesia
