In this video, I explore the limits of Lego pneumatics by comparing a complex V6 engine against a high-torque inline-3 (i3) design. We start by building a V6 using small cylinders, only to discover it lacks the torque to drive heavy loads. To solve this, I engineer a compact i3 "Brute" engine using large industrial cylinders and a space-saving Scotch Yoke mechanism. The journey involves overcoming exploding parts, integrating a bicycle-style freewheel to prevent axle snapping, and modifying pneumatic switches for higher airflow.
