THE BREATH OF LIFE: For All Who Live, Die, and Grieve (Music Video)

THE BREATH OF LIFE is beautiful, powerful, and miraculous. The poem/lyric is by Diane Kaufman, MD who received the 2025 Outstanding Achievement Award from the National Association for Poetry Therapy. The artwork, Angel with Creation Potential, is by Sulamith Wulfing. The song and vocal are by Songer.co. The song was created on October 8, 2025, and was inspired when Diane saw a Facebook memory of a poem she'd written for her friend Louise that surrounded a calendar image of an angelic woman. The origin story is that Diane had sent a text message to Louise saying hello and wishing her well. Louise was a music therapist at the New School in NYC. There had been no response to that text and then Diane received a call from a police officer asking her to call him. Diane called and the police officer told her that Louise had died in her sleep and the text message was one of the last on her cell phone. The poem in memory of Louise was written October 30, 2014 at an arts and healing workshop. Diane was imagining herself to be Louise at the moment of her death that was nine days prior on October 21st.The poem had no title. It was named "Breath of Life" on October 8, 2025 and became a song. On October 10th, Diane searched for the artist of the angelic woman and discovered Sulamith Wulfing and her Angel with Creation Potential. The song was renamed THE BREATH OF LIFE. Truly this is a spiritually designed and miraculous song creation.
