Happy New Years Eve everyone!! Today I am sharing my version of a 12 by 12 with you. I have pulled out all but one of my WIPs and stitched one each one for one hour. I will be sharing my before and after each hour. I have a couple hours where I talk about the stitching community and I finish off with a very special start for the new year! I hope you are able to sit down in a cozy spot today and stitch while ringing in the new year! This year I encourage you to share your love of stitching with someone in your life. Needle art is a great traditional community builder but also is very meditative which we seem to need more than ever. So this year let’s do some good in our community and share our love of the craft :) Stay in touch: Email: fibersandfloss@gmail.com Instagram: @FibresandFlossCanada Ravelry: fibersandfloss Flosstubers Mentioned: @HyggeStitcher @KeaBee Patterns/Books Mentioned: Hour 1 Treasure Island by Owl Forested Embroidery Kit using called for hand dyed threads and fabric by OFE Hour 2 Royal Games 1 by Nora Corbett for Mirabilia 32 count optic white stitched with called for dmc floss, blending filament and beads/jewels Hour 3 Greenhouse of Oddities by Lola Crow Cross Stitch 28 counted haunted lugana by picture this plus stitched with the called for dmc floss Hour 4 Book discussed: Sharp Notions, Essays from the stitching life by various authors edited by Marita Dachsel and Nancy Lee Question: why do you stitch?
