The second set of legendary first-ever North American show by Pagan Altar, headlining the only edition of Montreal is Doomed festival. Live at the Katacombes, Montréal, Canada This is the only time in Pagan Altar's recent career where they played with full cloaks, incense (the same one they used back in the 80's!) and black candles, just like they used to do in their beginnings. A magical set, for those who were still sober enough to witness it haha! Pagan Altar In the wake of Armedeus Judgement of the Dead The Black Mass Reincarnation Night Rider and Sharnie had to be dropped as they run out of time and the venue had to close! They played until something like 3:15AM! I could not thank the band enough for their insane dedication. HAIL PAGAN ALTAR! RIP TERRY JONES! Filmed by Steven Legault A message from Terry for the people that were there: On behalf of all the bands that played at the 'Montreal is doomed' festival we would like to thank Annick and everyone concerned with the organizing and general running of a festival that for us all has been a highlight of the year. The crowd's reaction and enthusiasm to all the bands involved was first class and our reception was far in excess of anything we could have imagined and was on a par with our gig in Greece a few years ago and that is one Hell of an accolade. We would also like to thank the audience, many of whom traveled great distances to be there, for their welcome on our first trip to the American continent and that was certainly appreciated by us all. So much so in fact that should the opportunity ever arise again for us to return at some stage we would jump at the chance!
