Akshar-Purushottam Darshan Mandapam Inaugurated at the National Sanskrit University, Tirupati

Join us in reliving the historic moments of the Akshar-Purushottam Darshan Mandapam inauguration at the National Sanskrit University, Tirupati, as part of a special 'Bhashyotsav' festival held on August 4th and 5th. The Akshar-Purushottam Darshan Mandapam has been constructed within the sprawling campus of the university to allow students to acquire knowledge of the Akshar-Purushottam Darshan, just like other Mandapas dedicated to other Darshanas. In this Mandapam, the sacred murtis of Shri Akshar-Purushottam Maharaj and Param Pujya Pramukh Swami Maharaj were installed with Vedic rituals. Pujan of these murtis was performed by Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj. Take a glance at the Vedic yagas performed by expert scholars as part of the installation ceremony and a majestic procession where the commentary texts (Bhashya Granthas) of various philosophical traditions were carried in palanquins and honoured with pujan and aarti. Be inspired by the ‘Bhashyotsav,’ held with collaborative effort between the Indian Council of Philosophical Research (ICPR) and the National Sanskrit University, to celebrate the commentaries of various Vedic traditions, during which Mahamahopadhyay Bhadreshdas Swami presented the Akshar-Purushottam Darshan as revealed by Bhagwan Swaminarayan, using the Prasthanatrayi Swaminarayan Bhashya, as the basis. Witness the formal inauguration of the Mandapam by His Excellency Dr. Haribabu Kambhampati, the Governor of Odisha; Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand; and Mahamahopadhyay Bhadreshdas Swami.
