Sure, charm is always in the first things, and that was 1998 Bizarre Festival for me. But today I've seen a band at its peak. 3 reasons: 1. I was very much looking forward to this concert because I wanted to see them perform the new album "Vertigo Days" in a club. And I could experience now in live context why I like the album so much. It adds a new depth, thoughtfulness, diversity to the whole repertoire, somehow a new softer feeling. I almost cried at the beauty of "Oh sweet fire" which I had not expected. 2. Sound was so good, new depth in the layers of sound, also they redesigned some sections completely to make some notes or some instruments stand out. Best seen in the recordings of O-4. Very notable also in Pilot (not recorded). Guitars with clarity, the bass, the keys, everything. Only the voice was unfortunately a bit soft sometimes. 3. The small club, Bürgerhaus Stollwerck: The atmosphere was crazy good. I think everybody felt it and was thankful for this, to see a band at its peak.
