Stop everything — because Taylor Swift's rumored wedding venue just got completely debunked and we have no idea where this wedding is actually happening anymore. Plus Opalite just went number one, Travis got called an icon at the NFL Combine, and Taylor celebrated with a pretzel. Let's go. So the biggest bombshell this week came from NBC News Boston, who actually did what nobody else bothered to do — they went to Watch Hill, Rhode Island, checked public records, spoke to local authorities, and investigated whether there's any actual evidence that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are getting married there. And the answer? Nothing. Zero. Not a single thing. The report found no paperwork, no permits, and no police preparations for a wedding at Taylor's oceanfront estate or anywhere in the area. They checked building permits for Taylor's property at 16 Bluff Avenue and found renovation work — a nearly two million dollar kitchen remodel and bathroom upgrades approved in January 2025 — but absolutely nothing related to a wedding or large-scale event. Wedding planner Kate Murtaugh, who was interviewed for the piece, acknowledged that Watch Hill seems like a natural fit given that Taylor owns a massive seaside estate there right near Ocean House. But she also pointed out some serious logistical problems. The surrounding area doesn't have many big-brand hotels, the ones that exist have limited capacity, there's seasonal tourist traffic to deal with, and a star-studded event of this magnitude would require major security coordination — none of which appears to be underway. The report basically concluded that a wedding there would take enormous planning and none of it is happening. Now here's where it gets interesting. The June 13th date at Ocean House has been the dominant theory for months. It lines up with Taylor's obsession with the number thirteen, it's a Saturday in peak wedding season, and it falls outside the NFL schedule. But Ocean House's own marketing director previously told TMZ that they would never allow one couple to buy another's wedding date — debunking the rumor that Taylor bought out an existing reservation. And now with investigators confirming there are no event filings with the town or police department, the Watch Hill theory is looking shakier than ever.
