Paying Guests is a 2009 Indian Hindi-language comedy film that follows the chaotic and comical lives of four young, unemployed male friends—Bhavesh, Parag, Parikshit, and Jayesh—who are searching for new accommodation in Pattaya. After being kicked out by their last landlord, they find a perfect house whose owners, Ballu Singh and Sweety, are only willing to rent to married couples. To secure the lodging, Parag and Bhavesh cross-dress and pose as the wives of their friends, Karishma and Kareena Kapoor, respectively. The plot spirals into a hilarious confusion of errors as they try to keep up the charade from their new landlords, manage their real-life girlfriends, which leads to a dramatic and absurd climax.
