You'll notice I use colored pencils in the first two steps. I do so to make it easy to see each separate step in the process. While you're free to draw with any pencil, pen, marker, or digital pad you wish, I recommend keeping it as simple as possible. And it doesn’t get more simple than a pencil and paper. You’ll also notice I don’t spend time coloring the characters during the video.
