Although remaining physical specimens of these Star Wars postcards from Hoyts Cinemas are becoming rare, many kiwi fans will remember acquiring them in 1997. With the total card count only hitting half a dozen, it's only a small set, but because the postcards tie in directly to a pivotal cultural moment in the Star Wars timeline, alongside the fact that we have concurrent newspaper advertising that mentions the postcard promotion, these are a fun New Zealand Star Wars collectible.
