This video tells you how and where exactly to place dots, stickers or markers on your violin. I only put on the 1st finger and 3rd finger markings as all other fingers can be placed from those 2 markings. I do NOT recommend you use those 'Don't Fret' stickers or those full fingerboard stickers as they are too confusing, totally not necessary and they make you and your ear very lazy.
