Plus, join us on a park bus tour where we were incredibly lucky to get clear views of Denali's magnificent peaks! But, as seasoned RVers know, adventures often include unexpected turns! Just as we were settling in, we discovered a wheel bearing problem – ironically, right after discussing how trouble-free they'd been! See how we diagnose the issue, deal with a broken jack and a forgotten tool (oops!), and make a necessary parts run north to the town of Healy. Along the way, we share interesting facts about Denali (the mountain AND the park), the unique tundra environment, wildlife like the ptarmigan, insights into the different Denali bus systems (narrated tour vs. transit), tips for visiting the kennels, info on nearby lodging options, and why having an auto parts store in Healy saved the day!
