2017 Lexus RX350 Fsport Rear Liftgate has 2 beeps and no movement -- how to fix it

My battery died with the tailgate partly open and when the battery was recharged the tailgate did 2 beeps and refused to move. Nothing in the manual addressed this. Lexus dealer couldn't help. I struck out until I stumbled on a Toyota dealer tip. This video shows how to reset the tailgate to work electrically again. The screens in the video that go with the directions may be hard to follow without pausing the video. Here they are as written instructions. Use the control pad on right of the steering wheel and the display on left of the dash Go to Vehicle Settings (Gear) Go to PBD Go to System Settings Toggle to and activate All OFF Manually force tailgate to top of range Manually push tailgate to close down fully Go to Vehicle Settings (Gear) Go to PBD Go to System Settings Toggle to and activate All ON
