Macedonian-Swedish classically trained clarinetist Blagoj Lamnjov (Blago J on all streaming platforms) pushes the boundaries of the clarinet, blending the macedonian folk music with the sensibility of the western classical clarinet sound. Influenced by many musical genres, Blagoj’s music style delivers a full-of-emotions concert experience, a closer look at the clarinet as an instrument, as well as a more familiar image of the Balkan and Macedonia, creating a bridge between the old and the modern world. Blagoj is a classically trained clarinetist whose musical journey began in his native Macedonia and continued in Sweden and the United States. He embarked on his first tour at just 13 years old as part of a folk group, and since then, his performances have captivated audiences across half of Europe, as well as in China, Japan, the USA, and Canada.
