Here’s the script, however it is improve Video Script: "Dress to Impress" JRA Application Scene: Me, Lia, Jedi, and Lindsay are in a common area. The setup should look like a fashion runway. Homemade "catwalk" out of rugs or a sign that says "JRA Runway." (Me begins with dress to impress music. You are standing at one end of the "runway." Your friends are seated on the side, looking like judges.) Lai (Narrating): Welcome, everyone, to the annual JRA "Dress to Impress" showcase! Tonight, we have our final contestant, modeling the most important skills for success. (I start walking down the "runway" toward the camera. A title card appears on screen: "Question 1: Why me?" CPR instrumental song) Me: For my first look, I’m wearing the "Dedication" gown. My passion for community building and helping others is why I want to be a Resident Assistant. I believe a dorm is more than just a place to live—it's a home where people grow and learn together. (I pose. One friend holds up a card with a score like "5/5" and smiles.) Me: Two of my strengths are my communication and my empathy. I can connect with people from all backgrounds and listen to their concerns without judgment. However, that sense of empathy often leads to biting off more than I can chew and not asking for help. I'm learning that asking for help isn't a weakness—it's a strength that leads to better results for everyone. I believe I'm the best candidate because my genuine desire to serve others, combined with my commitment to improving, sets me apart. (ME walks a few more steps down the runway. A new title card appears: "Question 2: Project Management." play higher by tems instrumental) Me (Narrating): And for our next look, we have "The Organizer" ensemble, complete with a notebook and pen. (MEise is now wearing a blazer or something that looks more professional, holding a clipboard. Queen of Mean by Descendeds) ME: I’ve had plenty of experience with big projects, like when I organized an International Day for my local high school . It involved coordinating dozens of volunteers, managing a budget, and meeting strict deadlines. I stayed organized using a shared online document, creating a master checklist, and setting clear, color-coded deadlines. I learned that meticulous planning is key to preventing chaos. As a JRA, I'll apply this by using a detailed calendar and checklist to ensure I never miss an important administrative deadline or process. (I strike a professional pose. Another friend holds up a card with a score.) (ME now walks to the end of the runway and turns to the camera. A new title card appears: "Question 3: Conflict Resolution." ) ME(Narrating): Our final look is the "Diplomat" suit, perfect for any unexpected situation. (ME is now standing still, and the music becomes serious.) ME: In a situation with a physical altercation, my priority would be to ensure everyone's safety. I would immediately make my presence known and verbally tell them to stop. Then call Public Safety for assistance as well as another RA. While waiting for them to arrive, I would remain outside the room and use a calm, firm voice to de-escalate the situation, telling them to stop and that I am calling for help. I would not enter the room or put myself in a position to be injured. After the situation is resolved, I would follow up with my supervisor to file an incident report and connect the students to the appropriate university resources to help them address the underlying issues. (ME gives a final, confident pose. Your friends cheer and clap.) ME(To the camera): Thank you for watching the showcase! I hope I’ve proven that I have what it takes to impress and be the next Resident Assistant. (ME waves to the camera as the music fades out.) Cuts to videos of people approving the message
