All India Children's Educational eContent Competition 2024-25 - Inauguration Ceremony

All India Children's Educational eContent Competition, an initiative of CIET, NCERT, can be seen as a program attempting to concretise this over the last many decades. The competition has received more and more entries each year, with over 700 entries in the previous edition alone. Over decades, it has grown in scope and diversity, recognising formats from audio and video to immersive edXR, with increasing participation each year. The broad objectives of the program are a) to encourage and incentivise the creation of quality eContent by students, teachers, teacher educators, and independent eContent creators, b) to provide a national-level platform for collaboration among different stakeholders in education and c) to facilitate wider dissemination of OER to ensure access to quality eContent. This year, an attempt has been made to provide an operational understanding of the competition categories for a better-focused approach towards eContent creation and to avoid misaligned entries. Also, some problem statements have been given in the new media category to develop apps, games, or software, such as Al-based assessment of learners, Students' ePortfolio with data analytics, Al-based classroom simulator, Educational video content production process optimiser, and Project Planning and Monitoring.
