Some people become icons, and then there are people who become a part of your moral compass. For me, that was Dr. Jane Goodall. So, when I heard the devastating news of her passing, I didn't know what to do with the grief. How do you honor a giant? For me, the answer was in the one thing I know how to do: write. I disappeared into my studio, surrounded by her words and her wisdom. I worked non-stop, not out of obligation, but out of a deep, urgent need to translate my admiration into something tangible. The lyrics that poured out are a testament to her message: that hope is an action, not a state of being. It requires action, no matter how small.
