We explored street food in Chinatown Bangkok night market in this episode of our Bangkok night walk tour. Yaowarat is the main thoroughfare of street foods in Chinatown Bangkok that goes far beyond a tourist attraction. A huge open air street food market dominates the Chinatown Bangkok night market. It was my first time trying Exotic Thai street food in Thailand Chinatown. This episode of eating bugs in Thailand Chinatown features a special section on exotic foods. I tried fried worms, grasshoppers, bamboo worms, crickets, grasshoppers, and saw fried scorpions. If you are a seafood lover, Chinatown Bangkok has plenty of seafood options which are either fried and grilled, seasoned with Thai spices and sauces. It's no secret that I love seafood a lot. Besides grilled crabs and fried crabs, I also tried grilled lobsters. We filmed a variety of grilled seafood in Chinatown Thailand today, including squid, octopus, oysters, mussels, snails, fishes, and Oden. We saw pink and red hot dogs for the first time here in Chinatown Bangkok. Chinese sausages or hotdogs are known as Lap cheong in Thailand. We also found dried worms, bugs and Indian street food style Peanut crackers or Krayasart puffed rice crackers or Khao Taen in Chinatown Bangkok supermarket. In two consecutive days, we filmed the full Bangkok street food tour in Chinatown in May 2022. We ate pork trotter with rice during our Chinatown Bangkok walk tour on the second day. Fruit is a famous staple in Thailand, including Bangkok's Chinatown. Fruit juices are pure without preservatives, and fruits have their original tastes. A very low price was also offered. We ended this episode with pure Mango ice cream dessert. Mango is sweet and very famous dessert fruits in Thailand. There're lot of dishes available in Thailand which are made of mangoes. You must try Mango sticky rice if you're in Thailand. Locals call it Khao Niaow ma Muang and it is heavenly scrumptious.
