Really can't get over how Nightfall is such a perfect sendup to Point of Contact. The snowy environment is so good and oppressive without being too distracting or impossible to see anything. The cryptids themselves look paler and less lit up compared to before showcasing how they too are affected by the environment. Lastly the Breeder is so badass, that thing really put my skills to the test when first playing all those years ago. Now in some ways I consider this map EASIER than Point of Contact! Extinction Mode has an upgrade called Cryptid Slayer Ammo that has all the combined types of firepower you get from the different ammo boxes you assign to your character. Armor Piercing, Stun/Lightning, Incendiary and Explosive Ammo Types respectively. This Upgrade Costs 500 TEETH. You earn these Teeth by slaying hundreds of Cryptids, completing missions (especially for the first time/helping others the first time) and for completing the first area of the map. You can earn Bonus Teeth by playing with Relics on, getting a perfect game (all challenges completed) and by playing in Hardcore Mode. I never did Hardcore.
