Some nice 16mm colour footage of street scenes in 5th Avenue in the late 1940s. This includes shoppers around 5th Avenue and 46-48 streets, a fire near the Flatiron building, and views from the top of the Empire State Building. This is the original colour of the film, but as I have only "off the wall" projection facilities, and limited video editing, the film is as it is...some 70 years later!
