Instagram:   / thetoilstor.  . Twitter:   / thetoilstory​.  . ============================== In March 2021, Instinctoy started working with Mr. Yosuke Ueno to create a work of art for Hapico. Aiming to create a form that is beautiful and lovely from any angle, adjustments were made by the millimeter, and after a year of work the ideal sculpture was finally completed. The hair and clothing were modified many times in order to achieve the beautiful metallic rainbow gradation of colors that symbolize Hapico. After many discussions with Mr. Ueno, the one-piece dress was designed with the likeness of mosaic tiles, in order to create the various appearances and changes in color depending on the reflection of light. For this color, aurora glitter is scattered over the gradation to create a luxurious and shimmering finish. The hands behind the back were closely sculpted from Mr. Ueno's design. The rounded, cute expression of the hands is also a point of attention. This work will also come with an artist's introduction card, certificate of authenticity, and original gloves. The work is approximately 60cm tall, and has a lively presence as though Hapico jumped out of one of Mr. Ueno’s paintings. The custom-made shipping box can also be used as a stage for displaying the work. This work is limited to 70 pieces, with the number “7” being Mr. Ueno’s special number. A serial number is printed on the sole of each piece. This work was also sold at the Taipei Toy Festival last month and was very well received by collectors.
