Kamen Rider BLACK S.H.Figuarts 仮面ライダーBLACK S.H.フィギュアーツ

Welcome to my review of the Renewal Version of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider BLACK [仮面ライダーBLACK]! Over the years Kamen Rider BLACK has been my go-to Rider series to watch. I love watching the adventures of Kotaro and his fight against Golgom. I'm definitely not alone since Kamen Rider BLACK was among the first Riders to get the Figuarts treatment back in 2009. The original figure is......terrible. This, and the figures until about 2012, made me largely ignore the Figuarts line for a long time. They weren't ready. Sadly that meant a lot of figures that I would have really liked to own went unpurchased. Flash forward to the Summer of 2013. An updated version of Figuarts Kamen Rider BLACK had been announced. It features an all new sculpt and insane attention to detail. It's like they actually looked at a picture of Kamen Rider BLACK when they were designing this figure. Everything is very nicely done, right down to the creases sculpted in. The only issue I have with this figure is the shoulder joints. For whatever reason they seem to stick out a bit. Other than that, no issues with this guy. Since this figure is still relatively new, it can be found pretty easily both from Japan and from outlets that sell Bluefin-imported figures. I highly recommend picking this one up. You won't be disappointed.
