Who We’re Looking For: ===================== Julie Margaret Vessigault (Missing Since 01/23/2024) Last seen leaving her mother’s home in Elk Grove, CA, driving a tan 2005 Toyota Camry. Despite her car needing repairs, Julie’s disappearance raised immediate concerns as she was known for her punctuality and dedication to her work cleaning aircraft. John Atkins (Missing Since October 1973) Vanished between Freeport and the Courtland Bridge while driving a GMC Sprint. The team prioritized this decades-old case, given its proximity to recent discoveries in the area. Norma, Thomas, and Richard Houghland (Missing Since 07/15/1978) A mother and her young sons disappeared during a summer drive, likely seeking relief from the heat. Their gold or light blue 1965 Pontiac LeMans remains missing, adding to the mystery of their case. Karmen Kay Neilson (Missing Since 11/20/2016) She was last seen driving her silver 2012 Honda Civic southbound on River Road with little details to investigate the disappearance. Uriel Cantu (Missing Since 11/26/2006) A citizen of Mexico, disappeared en route to Washington State to pick up a paycheck. 🎬.. Utilizing cutting-edge sonar technology, underwater dives, and intensive mapping, we targeted high-probability locations such as Steamboat Slough and other sections of the Delta where submerged vehicles were previously identified. A1 Towing, a trusted local partner, worked alongside AWP to extract vehicles from the waterways. These efforts were bolstered by cooperation with the Courtland Fire Department and local law enforcement agencies, ensuring efficient coordination and safety throughout the search and recovery process. During this trip, we identified and recovered several vehicles while marking others for future removal. Among the 18 cars documented in Steamboat Slough, we worked to dive, assess, and prepare them for extraction. This initiative underscores our commitment not only to solving cases but also to restoring natural environments for future generations. Coming up on Day 4, we find our first missing person we've been investigating on this trip. Stay tuned as we share more on this story in the videos to come.
