Sarah was diagnosed with an occipital condylar meningioma in 2021 while pregnant. Her first symptom was flashing lights, similar to a migraine aura. A CT scan revealed a brain tumour, with just six weeks left before her baby was due. Doctors advised a C-section because of the pressure labour could place on her brain. After Violet was born, Sarah’s symptoms worsened, and over time the tumour began to grow. In this episode, Sarah shares: • Being diagnosed during pregnancy • Having a C-section because of a brain tumour • The challenge of watch and wait with a newborn baby • Being told surgery was needed to protect her sight • Waking up after surgery and noticing her vision had improved • The reality of recovery, balance issues and fatigue • Using physio and occupational therapy to rebuild • Creating a new wellbeing business inspired by her experience • The support she found through Brainstrust Here is Sarah's New Website https://rainbowwithlove.co.uk/ This is Day 13 of Brain Tumour Awareness Month 2026.
