It is a re-imagining of the original with many alterations to structure and content, along with most of the gameplay improvements introduced in Forbidden Siren 2, all oriented to appeal to the American public, with western characters and simplified mechanics, more action-oriented and without that many horror or mystery elements. The story begins on August 3, 2007 and focuses on an American television crew that arrives in Japan to investigate and document the legend of Hanuda, a "vanished village" where "human sacrifices" are said to have taken place 30 years prior. 🐧 Reviews: 78% on metacritic, but 91% of google users liked the game. Some reviews: Funhouse1756 10/10: If you like the Silent Hill series, especially SH f, I can wholeheartedly recommend this to you. Very similar in atmosphere, not surprising as Siren Blood Curse is from some of the original team members of SH 1. Incredible tense with a gripping atmosphere. I could only play in short sessions with the lights off. One of my favourite horror experiences to date. 1Up 100%: Despite the hoops you need to jump through prior to playing, Siren Blood Curse more than makes up for it with some of the most intense and perfectly paced survival horror I've had the pleasure of being terrified by. Predikador 10/10: Siren Blood Curse is the best survival horror of the new generation, and one of the best of history games.
