This video was a ton of firsts for me and kind of a mess, but I am super proud that I am just putting it out there. There was the first time I ever really wrote a script and talking about my hand is a very sensitive topic but I want it to be an important part of my channel. A lot of the video, I am worried it will be boring or what is bro yapping about. But with all the footage recorded and done, I just wanted to give my full thoughts, post everything. I think that DBD wasn't built on accessibility and some of those things show in the design of the game. I also feel like playing it, I have struggled to figure out whether I want to do controller or keyboard because there is cons for each. But ultimately I love the game, but it is a work in progress. For arkham knight, I love the game but I don't feel like the base controls for the tank mode was done well. I also feel with no special controller, I struggled to play those levels in a way that felt comfortable. It wasn't clearly communicated by the other games I listed have rebindable controls in a way that I like and can clearly remember recently. I also feel like there is no standard for what accessibility means, some games do and don't have features, and there is a weirdness in that some things are limited just because "that's just the way it is" even though, it would make the game better for everyone. With my hand, I have had to learn to do things weirdly from game to game, and I think that it has really impacted how I experience games. For the last thing, I want to make this video, so that it could be a resource, to help you know how to rebind for different consoles, my physical setup as well as some tricky game situations I have dealt with. I want this channel to be about accessibility and building a community that will give me one handed setups (lol just kidding but also i need help). As well as view games made by creators no one knows about because... I'm one of those creators too. So, rant over, but hopefully that adds some more context to the video. I wanted the video to be more than "here's my hand" but I was really struggling to talk to the camera so this was a big learning experience.
