DEPECHE MODE - 101 - LIVE - A Re-Edit For The Masses - Retro style extended fan-edit version

Depeche Mode's classic live album/video "101" in a new fan-made high quality re-edit version. Combining material from the documentary and the concert film, with the addition of new bonus tracks from the 2021 re-release, to make for a new and unique viewing experience. Aiming to offer the most creative, seamless and well curated incarnation of Depeche Mode live at the Rose Bowl in 1989. Simply put, making the version, I myself, would love to stumble across here on Youtube. Going into this project, I imagined finding an old beat up tape-reel containing an alternative hitherto unknown cut of the film. What would it look and sound like? Something like this... The faded colors, the odd format, the grain, the wear and tear. Also, I've tried to rebuild as much as possible of the full songs from the live album, completely avoiding fades, in and out, as found frequently on the original. And otherwise tweaked things in literally hundreds of ways. I really dislike obvious multiple use of footage so that is avoided as much as possible. The mysterious and quite magical appearance and disappearence of certain hats and things like that are still there, but to a lesser degree. Note that I haven't tried to shoehorn in every single one of the available songs, but rather find a running order that works well in this particular context. Probably not to everyones liking - but I love it.
