Easy fix for a loud Heat Pump

Every heat pump or AC produces sound. This sound is partly caused by vibrations of the unit. You can mitigate these vibrations pretty effectively. First check if your heat pump or AC is placed on anti vibration pads. You can purchase these at Amazon (search 'anti vibration pads') or ask your installer. Secondly check out my easy fix to connect your line set to a piece of rebar. This will distribute any vibrations into the ground before the vibrations can reach your building and disperse through your building materials. Not mentioned in video, buy recommend: a small piece of foam or rubber between the bar and the line sets that acts as a gasket. I have no data or measurements but I've noticed a substantial difference after installing the rebar rod.
