Hey all, here's a comparison of the three official English versions of Ys III: Wanderers from Ys: The Genesis, SNES, and TurboGrafx CD (PC Engine CD). This comparison is abridged since the game is about 2-5 hours long. If you want to see the whole game in a future video or other versions of it, let me know in the comments below. Ys III was originally released on the PC 8801/9801 and versions followed for the MSX2, X68000, Famicom, Genesis/MegaDrive, Super Famicom/SNES, PC Engine CD/Turbografx CD, Playstation 2, and mobile phones (in Japan). There was a complete ground up remake released as Ys: Oath in Felghana for PC and PSP. The PC version is still available on Steam and is based on the Ys VI: Ark of Napishtim engine so it's radically changed from the original. It has the same areas, but the story is expanded, each location is larger, the game is much harder, and it's also much longer.
