The Vanquish VS4-10 Phoenix Portal is an interesting RC crawler. We've finished the mods and we're happy with how it performs. Now let's see how much difference there is on the comp crawler course - and how it fares against a modern 1.9 crawling legend, the Axial Capra. They're both 1.9 rigs. They both have portal axles. They both have DIG units. And today, they'll both have the same wheels and tires. This isn't a fair fight! So, consider this not a head-to-head comparison so much as a demonstration of crawling ability between the two rock crawlers. Objectively, the Capra is the better performer here. But maybe performance isn't everything when you're considering a crawler purchase... The Capra will be hamstrung today with the over-wide track from those Vanquish wheels, so maybe this won't be quite as clear-cut.
