Mattia sent me his score a few months back, but I took a bit of a break from piano due to some personal issues. I am doing a lot better now, and this piece gave me the inspiration I needed to get back into the swing of things. I am so grateful to Mattia for his endless patience and positivity during this time. Thank you so much, Mattia!!! I am always impressed by Mattia's ability to make each song he arranges into his own masterpiece, whether it's through unique instrumentation or total genre-shifting. I think it is so cool that he was able to turn this classic heavy metal song into a fun waltz! I had such a blast working on this with him. My own personal introduction to this song was from playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 as a kid, so I liked to imagine waltzing around on a skateboard while playing this one 😅.
