Ardbeg Scorch: This is a nice little Ardbeg that I've been holdo on to for a while, and am excited to crack into it! Color: 0.7 Amber Nose: Nice and aromatic, with big wafts of bonfire smoke, salinity, sea breeze and brine. Light sweet notes of tropical fruit, orchard fruit and nutmeg make you salivate for a sip. Palate: Smooth and creamy mouth feel with muscular bonfire and peat smoke flooding your palate. Salty pork leads to some mild sweet banana, brown sugar and spices making this a delicious dram. Finish: Long and smoky, as ginger and fruit notes fade, leaving sweet and rich smoke covering your palate. Taste: 83 ABV: 46% Price: CAD ~$200 Value: 7.25/10
