Chiang Mai, Thailand - Wow, definitely one of my best travel experiences so far in Thailand! I went to one of the local street food stalls in Hang Dong. When I arrived, I immediately struck up a conversation with one of the friendly locals. Next I ordered a Larb Moo for the first time. While I waited, I ate noodles with pork. They were absolutely amazing. Before I tried the Larb Moo, I tried my hand at slicing the meat, which was fun. I told the man he could eat in my place and I would finish the work. He didn't let me, haha. The people were super nice and shared their food with me. I felt like they treated me like family even though we had only known each other for 20 minutes. I tried their Nam Phrik which was super delicious. Before heading home, I got a massage from the guy I was sharing my food with. Apparently he needed 20 baht for a whiskey, haha. It was a great experience eating here with the locals. The kindness is incredible :) Just as I was about to finish the video, my friend came by on his bike. He invited me to his home. He introduced me to his wife, dogs and all his lovely smelling herbs. What an experience.
