My new favourite gun - The Gauss Shotgun. I've only had this gun for 1 day, and i've already hit over 15,000 damage with 1 shot WITHOUT adrenaline on. I can't imagine how hard this is going to hit in patch 21 if they fix/ allow us to have the adrenaline perk card for 60% more damage. I could also use another 20% in explosive damage too that I haven't assigned yet. In this video i'll show you what i've used and experimented with so far, and how to achieve it too. I don't doubt I can hit even harder. Watch me 1 shot, or 1 clip a bunch of the toughest enemies in the Wastelands. In one trigger pull: 2935 + 1677 + 2096 + 3354 + 420 + 2515 + 1258 + 833 + 420 = 15,088 dmg. *Update, after posting this I then hit a 18,452 damage shot. You can find us streaming at / maow_ if you want to come over and join us. See if i'm still using the shotgun or trying a different build, who knows. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Gauss shotgun is a weapon in the Fallout 76 update Wastelanders. The Gauss shotgun is a powerful firearm with superior damage to other weapons of its class. Like the Gauss rifle, the Gauss shotgun can be charged to fire more powerful rounds. When crafted, Gauss shotguns use legendary modules, becoming legendary weapons with randomly determined effects. Although the Gauss shotgun is listed under "energy guns" when crafted, Gauss shotguns do not count as energy weapons like other Gauss weapons. As with other Wastelanders weapons only available with gold bullion, Gauss shotguns cannot be traded, dropped, or sold to vendors. Crafting Gauss shotguns are always crafted at the maximum level available to the player character. The weapon will be a one-star, two-star, or three-star legendary weapon with randomly determined effects. Weapon modifications Weapon mods can only be crafted if the corresponding plan is known. Mod plans for the Gauss shotgun are bought from Samuel for gold bullion and cannot be learned from scrapping Gauss shotguns. Locations The Gauss shotgun can be crafted at a weapons workbench if the corresponding plan is known. The plan can be bought from Samuel for 500 gold bullion with a Settlers reputation of Ally. Once the plan is known, Gauss shotguns may be found as legendary weapons, earned either as quest rewards or found on legendary enemies.
