In this video, we’ll be crafting this utility pouch bag using grey and orange leathers and stitching it with some contrasting orange linen thread by hand. This utility bag is the fourth of five items of a set of tailored leather products for a portable office and is the larger version of the first pouch shown in a previous video in the channel. If you haven’t seen the other videos of this series, here are the links so you can check them out: Small utility pouch bag: • Crafting a Stylish Leather Utility Pouch –... Glueing leather to a mouse pad: • Learning from Mistakes: Gluing Leather to ... Tailored leather handle for a mini board: • Crafting a Tailored Leather Handle for You... This medium sized bag is practically identical to the first one with the exception that this time I’ve decided to use the water based glue I’ve been using so far on the entire construction of the leather sections. I was amazed at how the glue behaved when installing the small magnet between the leather but also found how messy it could get when using waster based glue. Contrary to the Balco glue I normally use, the water based glue has less viscosity thus making it a less manageable glue when it comes to spreading it on a surface. Any ways, the glue worked really well but still needed to occasionally use the Balco glue to adhere some pieces together strongly. Since this is the first time using the water based glue on large sections, I don’t really know how well it adheres on the long run. Friends as always, thanks you so much for watching and I hope you liked the video!
