KIP-UP __________________ It is one of the basic acrobatic elements suitable for beginners. Reasons why you should learn it is hiding in his opening phase and in way how we place ours hands on floor. Placements of hands is almost same as in backroll, back handspring, and simular elements and variations of those elements. Many elements contain opening phase like kip-up, they varry in amplitude, angle, velocity, positions,... But kip-up is safest way to learn it in most harmless way. PREPARATION ____________________________ 1. Palms down - it is basic exercise where we rotating our wrists in all directions, In that rotation we use our weight to strenghten wrist muscles. Extreme position (rotations) can use as stretching. 2. Palms up - is in its core a same drill, but by the changing position of palms we affect diferent wrist muscles. This palm position can be painful. Dont be scared of that it is perfectly natural, you can decrease pain by reducing the weight on wrist (by slightly leaning back). 3. Wrist push up - your fists had to be in position like shown in video. The best way to do this drill is with straight arms, but it is not mistake if you absorb landing by flexing the arms.
