Rastriya Janata Party proposes to postpone Nepal election - Nepal News

Kathmandu, Nepal, May 18 (ANI): With no progress in addressing demands of a long time agitating parties to ensure commencement of second phase election, the Rashtriya Janata Party proposed to postpone it. Leaders of Rashtriya Janata Party proposed to postpone the 2nd phase of election in accordance with the leaders of Nepali Congress in a meeting held in Nepali Congress Parliamentary Office in Singhadurbar.RJP has thus claimed that the amendment is a long process and will not give much time for preparations. The leaders tried to convince the Congress leadership to postpone the election which was rejected abruptly. Nepali Congress rejected the proposal of the RJP claiming the postponement will hamper the Provincial and Election for the center which is to be held within January next year.
