Coxe had been speaking about being able to switch hands, and conversation naturally went to his December 1987 fight with John Kordic. His comments on Kordic's punching power in this fight are surprising. Many comments here address this, so as the interviewer, let me point out a few things, mainly: This clip is outside the context of the rest of the interview. Coxe didn't spare himself on the fact that he lost plenty of bouts. He told me exactly who punched hardest - in his experience, on the receiving end. He names Kocur, Brown, Crowder, and Fotiu. In the whole of the interview, Coxe is more self-depricating. He called himself 'lucky' in the Kocur win. He called his loss to Scofield 'embarrassing'.
