Thunder Mountain Utah: An epic ride

Thunder Mountain in Panguitch Utah is one of the most unique and beautiful trails we have ridden so far. The trail is just over 8 miles and is a mix of mostly blue trails with some tough black sections mixed in. The scenery changed throughout the ride. We started in the high alpine region and worked our way down to the sandstone formations to finally the lower alpine sections to our vehicle. Some sections were just too steep and technical for Tina so she played it safe. From the bottom it is about a 6 mile uphill slog back to the trail head.
