New York Society of Model Engineers 100th Anniversary Model Railroad Show | Part 1

Part 1 of 2: Hey Railfans and Model Enthusiasts. This is Mr. Conductor from Shining Time Station Railfan here. And I would like to welcome you to the New York Society of Model Engineers at Carlstadt, New Jersey. The Oldest Model Train Club in America. Celebrated 100 years since the founding, originally in New York, then they moved Hoboken Terminal (where I always visited) in the 1940s, and later in the mid-1950s at Carlstadt and stayed on to this day. In this video, this is my very first time to visit this historic centennial event on the weekend. In this model train club, it only opened every Wednesday evening from 7-10 PM. They have lots of model trains that you can see, well… not just NJ TRANSIT, but also one of the predecessors such as DL&W, New York Central, Erie Railroad, PRR, Canadian National The Canadian, Norfolk & Western such as N&W 611, and more; the current ones like and CSX Transportation, Norfolk Southern, and Union Pacific. They also featured Thomas and Friends characters models. One of them were the O-Scale, and HO-Scale.
