A&Z #1098 - Professional eater Randy Santel versus Nicoll's Undefeated 60oz Scottish Rump Steak Challenge hosted by Nicoll's Steakhouse in Perth, Scotland of the United Kingdom!! After finishing up our 2-week Northern Ireland Tour, ‪@KatinaEatsKilos‬ and I spent 3 weeks exploring most of the major cities and areas around Scotland. During our travels, I attempted 12 Scottish man vs food restaurant challenges. For eating challenge event #1, we headed to Nicoll's Steakhouse located in Perth, Scotland so I could attempt their undefeated 60oz Scottish Rump Steak Challenge. I had 1 hour to feast on a juicy butterflied Scottish rump steak cooked medium-rare just like I wanted. The number of sides included made this the toughest steak challenge I've ever tried. There were 4 portions each of chips, fried onion rings, mushrooms, and tomatoes, plus 5 ears of corn-on-the-cob. 12 people had tried and failed before my attempt, and nobody had really gotten close to finishing within the 1 hour time limit. I was trying to become the first champion to win my £70 steak dinner free plus a spot on Nicoll's Wall of Fame. Nicoll's started this 60oz Scottish Rump Steak Challenge with added sides for four people. 12 people had previously tried before me, and nobody had really gotten close to finishing. The main entrée was a butterflied 60oz (3.75kg) Scottish rump steak cooked to my liking. The toughest part of this challenge was finishing all of the side items meant for 4 big eaters. 4 orders each of chips, fried onion rings, mushrooms, and tomatoes, plus 5 corn-on-the-cob. There was a 1 hour time limit. Winners received the £70 steak dinner free plus Wall of Fame.
