Let's cook together and make every meal special! ————————— Beef Kofta Recipe: Ingredients For Kofta: Onion – 1 (finely chopped, juice drained) Beef – 500 g (or 1 kg) Green chilies – 2–3 (finely chopped) Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp Lemon – half (sliced) Spices: Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp Coriander powder – 1 tsp Cumin powder – 1 tsp Black pepper – 1/2 tsp Salt – 1 tsp or to taste Ghee – 1 tbsp Cooking oil – for frying For Gravy: Oil – 2–3 tbsp Onion – 2–3 (finely chopped) Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp Spices: Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp Paprika powder – 1/2 tsp Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp Yogurt – 1/2 cup Tomato paste – 3–4 tbsp Green chilies – 1–2 (chopped) Water – 3 cups Cream – 3 tbsp Fresh coriander – for garnish Method 1. Prepare the Kofta: Chop the onion and squeeze out excess water. In a bowl, mix drained onion with beef, chopped green chilies, ginger-garlic paste, lemon slices, garam masala, coriander powder, cumin powder, black pepper, and salt. Add 1 tbsp ghee and mix everything well. Shape the mixture into small balls (koftas). Heat oil in a pan and fry the koftas on medium heat for 10–15 minutes until golden brown. Set aside. 2. Prepare the Gravy: Heat 2–3 tbsp oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté briefly. Add turmeric, paprika, red chili powder, and coriander powder. Stir well. Pour some hot water and mix the spices properly. Add yogurt and cook for 5 minutes on low heat. Add tomato paste, cover, and cook for 10–15 minutes on low flame. Add chopped green chilies and 3 cups of water. Bring it to a simmer and cook on low heat for 30 minutes. Finally, stir in cream and garnish with fresh coriander. 3. Serve: Place fried koftas in the gravy and serve hot with naan, roti, or rice. —————————————— Serve: Remove and drain excess oil. Serve hot with chutney—pakoras are a favorite for Iftar!
