HHV - High Productivity and Extraordinary Precision

The Modig HHV has been designed as a universal machining center for bar or extrusion components and is the ideal choice for a wide range of industries. The HHV was developed in close cooperation with the world’s largest aircraft manufacturer and from its introduction in 2010, it quickly rose to become the first choice of leading aircraft producers. Today the HHV leads the world market in extrusion machining. Whether for short runs of modified components or high-volume production, the HHV provides the perfect solution. Providing repeatability and a very fast production rate as the tooling required is of low cost and easily changeable. The benefit of making many small detail parts from the same stick of extrusion or bar is mainly reduced set-up time but also a significantly shortened cycle time for completed parts. Tests made on bar stock materials by our HHV machine revealed reduced machining time per part of approximately 50% compared with standard three and four axis machining. At one of the world’s leading airplane builders, we measured a reduced processing time of 70%. Typical parts are longerons, stringers, floor beams, seat tracks and small detail parts such as clips and brackets.
