Metroid Samus Returns -Part4: Clearing Metroids in Area 2 & heading DEEPER! Then SMOKED by TURRETS?

This is UFONmans full playthrough of Metroid Samus Returns (2017 Nintendo 3DS REMAKE of Metroid 2: Return of Samus Aran Game Boy game) on NORMAL difficulty! Continuing my departure from the comfort zone! I recently played Metroid Zero Mission (which is basically Metroid 1 of the main series) and now I'm going to follow it with Metroid Samus Returns (which is basically Metroid 2 of the main series). This game is a modern remake of the original Metroid 2 (Metroid 2: Return of Samus Aran that was released for Game Boy a looooong time ago) and since I can, I'll be playing it! Unfortunately the sound levels weren't completely matched and the game sounds ended up a bit loud compared to my commentary... I haven't really played that much Metroidvania type of games. Only Metroid (prior to these) I've actually played to completion was Super Metroid for the SNES and little bit of the original Metroid for NES. For whatever reason I just got this mad urge to do a playthrough of Metroid games, so that's exactly what I'm going to do! In official Metroid storyline, this is the SECOND Metroid chronologically (not counting the spinoffs). I'm really sorry about the sound levels. Didn't notice that the game sounds are actually really loud compared to my commentary... Until it was too late. I haven't played or seen this version of the game at all... so we shall see what happens! Thing is, I'm not very experienced with these types of games and this is a pretty challenging game! As usual, I will be checking all the story and lore, trying to find EVERY possible secret I can. So expect lots of snooping and looking around, pretty much how a completionist would play. This will most certainly lengthen the playthrough, so if that isn't your cup of tea, you shouldn't watch these. English commentary and, like all of my playthroughs, there's going to be lots of swearing and cursing followed by raging and whining! Don't watch if you have a problem with that.
