Join us for a Super Bowl Sunday adventure at the San Francisco Zoo as Kristin and I head back to the park for another fun-filled day of animals, surprises, and behind-the-scenes experiences. Right at the entrance we ran into Michael from Bay Area Attractions, which kicked off the day with great energy and good company. During our visit, I shared my thoughts and ideas about the future of the old Primate Discovery Building — what it could become and how it might evolve as part of the zoo’s future. One of the biggest highlights of the day was when I surprised Kristin by grabbing the last available spot on the Savanna Desert VIP Tour. She got an unforgettable hands-on experience — including feeding a giraffe ten romaine lettuce leaves up close! 🦒 It was easily one of the most memorable moments of the trip. We also got to enjoy a ride on the Little Puffer Train, adding a fun classic zoo experience to the day. Unfortunately, Kristin missed out on the carousel ride that was included with her VIP tour — but that just gives us another reason to come back again soon!
