There are a few adjustments I'd like to make to my views on Geometry Dash's community, and this video. At the most basic level, I believe this video's popularity is misplaced. I don't think it's that good; certainly not more than 10,000 views good, and I don't understand why people say it is. I have a different view of the music I do as the person who produced this cover compared to the casual listener, but even compared to other videos that came before this one, this cover is a 6 out of 10 at best. Instead of watching this video multiple times, please, please, PLEASE go watch other covers I've done. I have multiple other Newgrounds covers, and a larger catalogue of other video game music covers. My catalogue is even still expanding. Furthermore, if nothing else particularly piques your interest, leave me a suggestion. I have been trying to put more suggestions into consideration, and while it may often take me a while to get to any suggestion you give me, I will make an effort to at least try and make an arrangement for a cover. That said, Dimrain or other speed techno like his is generally a no-go; I'm not THAT good at guitar, I fake my way through most fast guitar lines. And to adjust something I have been called out for that I've changed my mind on since I posted the last rant I had, I have no problem with Geometry Dash related comments anymore. I used to, but I have had to get used to them, and I had done before I even posted my first Newgrounds cover in 2020. Post about whatever you like, I don't care anymore. I'd said in the rant that I have prejudice against anyone who's comments only talk about Geometry Dash things; that was not a good thing to say, and I retract that statement. No reaching for excuses, I just fucked up in saying that. However, just a reminder that my channel celebrates the music, not necessarily the games. In the case of my Newgrounds covers, I am celebrating the musicians, and not Geometry Dash, even if Geometry Dash made them popular. While I have no problem with the comments, remember that I am not doing covers of music made popular in Geometry Dash just because it was made popular in Geometry Dash; it's because I genuinely like the music. Regardless, sorry again for the angry rant. In retrospect, leaving that there probably wasn't the best idea, so I'm changing it. I have it saved for reference in the future in case I need to dig it up for something.
