The first season of Fears to Fathom has officially ended with the release of Woodbury Getaway. Therefore I thought it would be an awesome idea to archive the entire season in one video so you can see the evolution in the gameplay, graphics and scares. These five games have been made in the span of over two years and its amazing to see how drastically has changed. The first release of Home Alone gives you a nice taste of what's to come and the type of thrills we can expect. It feels more like a tech demo and then gets more fleshed out with the second episode's release. But where the series truly starts to shine is from the third episode Carson House and onward. Each episode has such a unique atmosphere and storyline and combine scares with everyday and mundane stuff. Its a combination that works surprisingly well and has even spawned games inspired by Fears To Fathom. I love the realistic aspect of not having to deal with demons, ghosts or other monsters and the situations and characters are believable and relatable. The games often do a great job of raising eyebrows when it comes to various figures you run into and it has some of the most effective jump scares I have ever seen.
