The screen cost around $7.00 in my home improvement store and it can replace 2 windows screen. The Spline tool only cost $3.00 and you can use it again for future project. The spline can be reused unless it is really dry and would not come off without breaking into pieces. Taking the spline takes less than a minute and installing the screen back will take less than 5 minutes if you are not recording a video like what I am doing :). Anyway, you only need $10 and 10 minutes to replace 2 window screens. This is actually my first time doing this project but the screen that I purchased actually have a step by step instruction on how to do it and it also have a list of tools that you will need. I just added the flat head screwdriver so I can easily remove the spline and it also comes in handy to push the the spline in the corner edges.
