Did Sir Pentious WITNESS Jack The Ripper? Hazbin Hotel Season 2 Theory

Did you know this in Hazbin Hotel? During episode 2 we find out that sir pentious ended up in hell due to witnessing a murder. There’s a bit more to the story. Let me explain. So as we saw sir pentious witnessed a serial killer murder a woman on the street, and he was too scared to do anything. This led to him ending up in hell. Eagle eyed viewers will notice immediately that this serial killer wasn’t a regular criminal, it was jack the ripper. We can tell this because the scene starts with the date being 1888 in london. The design of the character also matches artist depictions of jack. The real life jack the ripper was a killer that only targeted women in london. He was never identified and it’s one of the most famous unsolved mysteries. Pentious specifically mentions that he knows who he is and that he was in a position of power, but didn’t do anything out of fear and apathy. I’ve seen some fans say that jack could be zestial, but that’s not possible zestial was alive before jack was. Though i think we could see jack as a sinner in a future season. Jack the ripper was extremely cunning and intelligent for the time, just like zestial he would know how to hide. Perhaps if pentious makes his way back into hell again, he will see jack and recognise him, finally getting his chance at vengeance. What do you think?
